Well, March has just got off to the cutest, most perfect start, hasn’t it? Meet our little fur baby Harlow. She is only eight weeks old and already the most precious, spoiled little lady. My fiance and I have been deliberating getting a pet for a while but, never managed to agree as I wanted a cat and he wanted a dog. It wasn’t until the last few weeks, I started to come round to the idea, and before we know it, we got little Harlow. So as you can imagine, most of my March goals are around getting her settled into our home.
Another big goal for March is our Wedding. We are just three months away from the big day (eeeek!) and as my dad likes to say, time is going as quick as a bullet train. I feel like it was only a few months ago we booked our big day, and now it is almost here. We’re very organised – to the point I’m nervous we have forgotten something. Now, it is all the fun things – invites, favours and working with our venue. My hen party is also at the end of March which I’m both excited and nervous for. I just wanted something low key so I’ve left it to my Maid of Honor to plan and I’m sure it’ll be a good night to celebrate with everyone.
One of my main priorities this month is working on my bookstagram account. I’ve been a little absent from Instagram in February – half due to personal reasons and half due to just feeling so uninspired. Bookstagram is filled with so many stunning, beautiful accounts that sometimes, you can’t help but compare yourself to others. But, I’ve worked out the direction I want to go in. I’ve bought some new props and working on creating my own LR preset so I’ll be spending most of March experimenting with photos and my feed – something I can’t wait to do.
I’ve been lucky enough to be sent some great books from some publishers, and I can’t wait to read and review them. I want to bring more reviews to my blog as they seem to be popular posts. I pinch myself anytime I get book mail and building relationships with publishers going forward is something I can’t wait to do.
So lots of fun plans to keep me busy – especially little Harlow. I know puppies are like babies at first, so I’m prepared for her to be unsettled for a while, but I can’t wait for her to settle into her home. So between that, the wedding and bookstagram – March is busy, busy! What are your plans for March? Do you have anything fun planned? I’d love to know below, or you can tweet or send me a comment/message on Instagram. Thanks for reading!0
